Seasons change, birthdays come and go and apparently so has my love for LJ
It's been a long, long time since I've posted on here. Almost coming up on a year, but 11 months without the ranting and raving on here has driven me to near insanity good lord I wished I had maybe I wouldn't be so damn bitter anymore. Well I guess I ought to bring you all up to speed with my oh-so-drab life. I've been working with Loblaws (boooooo) for the last year now and have realised how much I absolutely detest working in retail. You would think graduating university and working, sorry being a slave for a year with Loblaws would give you some good job prospects but no all the jerkwads that call me are calling me to be a cashier somewhere. Do I seriously would want to step down from being a manager to being a cashier again?? Hmmmm 4 years of university to be a cashier ... I think that's a great idea NOT!!! Blah anyway, I didn't make the cut for going to Japan with GEOS I missed it by a hair and I am disappointed ... really friggin' disappointed that I missed out but I wouldn't have been leaving till March anyway. Gives me some more time to look for real jobs and not management in retail and focus more on my tennis. So I have played one tournament in the Ontario Tennis Association and am currently ranked 54th in Ontario, which isn't too bad considering I lost in the first round hahaha!! But I've got one coming up in November, which conveniently falls on the weekend that I'll be hoofing it to NYC. So hopefully I can do better there, which is also thankfully in the Sauga, dunno where this Tennis School is but I'll find out soon enough. Well other than working 40 hours a week, slowly inching through my stack of unfinished games and tennis I really haven't been doing much else. Finished DMC4 the other day, and just started MGS4 and I'm doing surprisingly well. Sneaking around and using the Octo-camo suit is awesome, but not as awesome as just blatantly running around and julienning some silly demon that had the gall to stand in my way. Put then again I've just started and had way too much fun using the Mark II to scare the crap out of soldiers than actually doing the sneaking stuff. It's just funny to watch the Mark II flap around it gives me much joy. I've also taken to sleeping in basement with all the lights on and my PS3 on as I sleep through cutscenes and then wake up at 6 in the morning. Did that last night during the first (of many) cutscenes with Drebin number whatever, thankfully I hit pause and then conked out. Alright well I had better try and get some sort of sleep (not that I won't be sleeping through the manager's meeting tomorrow afternoon) since I do start work in 5.5 hours. long time no see
well its been another age since i last posted here and holy crap how things have changed. training at Real Canadian Superstore (wow thats a bitch to type o-0) is kicking my ass, not that its hard just that its friggin tiring. Was at the store till 5 am yesterday ... or should i say today oh wait no its past midnight so yesterday it stays. got there at 2pm and we had a no tax event over the weekend so that really killed me, customers suck but what else is new? back to the learning centre tomorrow for a week before I get shipped off to the Oakville Superstore, was really hoping to get transferred to the Winston Churchill store, but now I am apparently being interviewed as a likely candidate for the new store, well it was a Loblaw's now its becoming a Superstore, so i might get to start off with my own dept and employees that i will be hiring (woo hoo no slobbering idiots from Loblaw's for me .... potentially) not that im saying im ready to run the department by myself, but id rather do it now that wait for a year working with someone whos already a department manager. hopefully that marketing position im eyeing gets set soon so i can apply for that, im not gonna be crawling on my hands and knees moving shelves around according to my DM's will. but we'll see, got a job with Lowe's as a merchandiser, but im not sure what the terms and pay is ... will be finding out tomorrow. why the hell do i keep getting these store-level positions, friggin hell stick me in marketing how hard is that??????? i mean i got head office positions lined up for me in india and yet Canada doesnt see me fit to go into a stream that i prepared to get into for four years???? thats fucking bullshit!! but ill keep plugging away and see what happens, anyway its 12.30 and i need to be up at 6 and i still have to get Maggey Byrde declared innocent!!! so im off later dayz Sid Current Mood:  tired | | Monday, September 10th, 2007 | | 12:49 am |

how can someone make english class so damn boring!!!!
we read 3 stories a week and this guy goes off the deep end talking about Aboriginal Indians. i mean some off these short stories are actually quite good and really meld well with the theme that they are classified under but this dude doesnt touch on their importance and how the writing reflects said theme. he supposed to go from paris to london but somehow he ends up in cairo trying to find the great wall of china.
yeah its that fucked up!!! and my science fiction course aint a walk in the sane park either, jeez how did that woman ever get hired by ryerson ... oh wait we're talking about ryerson they'll hire dancing poodles as professors -_- i cant believe that im stuck in here from 6-9 mon thru thursday with these two dolts. oh well atleast its an easy mark that i can get and i can graduate from this black hole.
and this class doesnt even have any cute girls that i can talk to, theyre all from nursing or social work and know nothing about english. its like im wasting my time with all these people. atleast the sci-fi course is almost all biz kids, but this one is horrible. "Professor what do you mean by parallel stories?" uhhh stories that are similar ... maybe?? jeez ur like 90 u should know how to read and process english!!! i totally forgot to do the essay for today so im gonna have to hand it in tomoro after BS-ing 4 pages of crap tomoro morning. i just hope my sci-fi mid term isnt tomoro o-0!! oh wait i dont have one ... ehehehe ^^:
lookin forward to going home and playing some bass and then maybe some wii. and then writing a coupla para's for my new story. who knows?

Long n McDelayed!!
so i went to Long n McQuade yesterday to find out about the status of my bass guitar since it had been almost 3-4 weeks since i placed the order and lo and behold the drunkards who work there tell me it came in on April 30th. gee thanks boys, you're all so helpful i'mso glad you remembered i was psychic that i could read your minds and hack into your computer systems to find out it came in ..... assholes!!!! so i finally get my baby and what happens?? its backbowed .... meaning the guitar is bent backwards, awesome -_- fark!!! so they give me a loaner where the neck is too straight (what the hell is up with this place??) which i finally take home and plug into my oh-so-lonely 260 dollar amp and finally hear the beautiful bass drone of my ... a bass guitar. but seriously im uber-fuggin pissed with Long n McQuade. here i am about to drop 500 bucks on a guitar and A) they dont phone or email me about it coming in B) they order me a defective (yet still very sexy) guitar C) now i have to wait another god-knows-how-long for my guitar to come in again. i hope they intend on giving me a discount at the end of it ... and im so not going back there unless im returning my guitar (which i dont think will happen) so anyone know of any good non-Long n McQuade music stores in Sauga??? and no Walther''s in Sq 1 doesnt count -_- anyway i need to go to my english class now, even though im sure my back will kill when i sit in those completely uncomfortable chairs (wish i was in my nice new Business Bldg) listening to some dope drone on about Canadian writers and not actually talking about the story ... at all. yay -_- oh well at least ill be graduating after getting those credits, then to work on going to Japan or getting a real job *shudder* oh crap its almost 5!!! holy motherfucking power of grayskull!!! Hot Fuzz is the single greatest movie I will see this year!!!!! im not kidding if u go see Hot Fuzz u will involuntarily agree since it will take you and make you its bitch, that was the greatest spectacle of hilarity and gore that mine eyes have ever beheld!!!! i totally missed out on Shaun of the Dead cuz my DVD broke and my sister's DVD works in London ... and im not in London (stupid sister!!) but holy crap im so glad i talked nazer into going to see this and not the possibly but most likely and probably very truly crappy The Hills Have Eyes 2 ... umm whoopee? yeah not happening -_- but holy fuck it was amazing. Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost should be declared rulers of the free world .... and i would be their secretary of state ... or smth. but holy crap that was great, the kills were off the fucking charts, move over crappy remakes and shoddily put together "horror" flicks of the last few years that sucked more cock than Richard Hatch in prison!! holy shit the kills in this film take whatever cake there is (mmmm Black Forest Gateau), that reporter's death was off the bloody charts!!! and it was hilarious to boot, sure i was the only one who got some of the references and the English habits but they were amazing!!!!

well i got wined and dined by facebook and i am now officially another one of its whores, but im not ashamed ... just sad that i havent checked my LJ in a while. so well its been a long god-knows-how-long and life stinks as always, im definitely not graduating in the summer, but hopefully i will in the fall. i know i should be thinking about finding a job and i have, but im thinking that with my marks im pretty sure i could get a job as a doorman somewhere. 4th year has kicked my ass and i havent put up a fight. ive had more computer problems since the development of the first computer and its only gotten worse. but fuck all that, thats my personal bullshit, ive been thinking of doing an extended trip to japan for the past few months. now that will mean ill need a lot of money or really work my parents over to pay for it all, but i was thinking around 6 months in japan not giving a shit just seeing the sights, and travelling before i start as a doorman ... i mean at my job. but other than working full-time @ HMV till i figure out when im leaving and shit i was thinking why not just go and teach english for a year in japan or korea. i want to go to both countries, if i go to one i can go to the other, hell its a ferry ride away and id just be not in toronto for a year. i mean id have been here 7 years next month and ive been out of it for like 5 months in total. so its just time that i got away from the atrocity that is my boring life and go do something. id like to go with friends, but thats definitely not possible. seriously who would want to do that .... everyone but me so im seriously considering it. maybe after that ill start my two years in canada before getting my MBA then goin back to india. my sister's already gone, shes in london and will be in india for the next year or so doing her field study for her PhD and my parents are staying for another 6 years till my mom hits her pension and theyre gone, so other than my awesome friends i wont have anyone here. other than ppl down in new york i wont have family here and that just sucks. oh well whatever im just pinging thoughts around in my head, cuz i know stats wont do that at all. your fellow in insanity, Sid. its only second week of school and im already thinking about reading week!! but i do want to go somewhere, i dont know if i will be able to in the summer so i want to go when i bloody well can. i wanted to go someplace warm but thats prolly not gonna happen so i was thinkin of goin to Vancouver since I have a friend whos working there with the EA Vancouver division. plus i havent been anywhere in canada tho ive been around the world and across the states, so i thot lets start off with a fun city!! i mean ottawa and montreal are fun and all but come february its gonna be fucking freezing!!! so i wanna go where the temperature is milder. well heres the kicker, does anyone wanna go with? now i know reading weeks arent all coordinated (it would be awesome if they were but theyre not) and well it will get expensive but if there are more people it will be easier to split the bill. ive always wanted to go to vancouver and wouldnt mind staying there someday but back to the question at hand. is anyone A) free to go and B) willing to go. i mean i wouldnt care if i went alone, but travelling is always fun with friends which i found out when i went to Anaheim. that was the first trip without family other than YMCA overnight camps, and it was a whole lotta fun =P so if anyone is interested then let me kno. i looked up plane tix and theyre about $440 bucks with taxes takin westjet. so its not too bad i mean it is a 5 hr flight =P but anyway i hope i can go with ppl like most ppl do on reading week, it would be nice to push someone off the harbour ... i mean go whale watching with ^_^; hahahaha just kiddin. but well lets see what works out. later dayz Sid PS: my right arm is screaming bloody murder FUCK!!!!!!! of lasered eyeballs and long days
well everything is good the land of sizzling eyeballs, no damage done tho it did sting quite a bit and made my eyes water like crazy (thanks for the heads up Troy!!) and i couldnt see out of my right eye for 20 mins but its all good. have a check up next month to fix the retinal hole and shtuff!! holy crap was today ever long, it was long enough for my feet to go numb and not hurt like bloody hell like it usually does =P yeah it was long and we were understaffed and had to do all the filing from last night along with today's shipments and teh Tim's were in (bastards ... ok not Tim A, but Tim K can die in a fire!!!) gah im sleepy from all that work, gotta eat smth and catch up on One Piece which is fuckin mental since its 200 eps in and i saw them all in the span of 3 weeks .. well from eps 40 onwards. man oh man do i ever love uTorrent!! d/l's that usually take a week take only an overnight to download which is insane!! tho it munches on ur comp speed like crazy!! oh well small price to pay for faster anime. fucking Ryerson is giving me trouble again ... the bastards!! gotta go fix shit tomoro! anyway off to dinner and One Piece watching later dayz, Buddha Current Mood: tired | | Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 | | 9:58 pm |

well seems like the one comic that made me laugh till my stomach hurt has come true ... friggin awesome -_- apparently i have a detached retina (dont ask me what that is i just nodded like a mute) and after today's check up, which was damn fucking painful even tho all they used was a light and magnifying glass, apparently i have to have my eyes lasered to reattach my retina and close up the retinal hole -_- well atleast this is my first major surgery ... well it will take 20 odd mins but its still a damn laser beam in my eye

earrings?? them cool funky ones!!

its all so blurry and painingful
just came back from the optometrist and had some fucky drops put in my to dilate my pupil or w/e and so bright lights hurt really bad ... so going outside is a huge no no i had my hood up the whole time. and also my close-range vision is all blurry, but not too blurry. so all is good, but i have to go get my eyes lasered cuz apparently the retina in my right eye is not completely stuck to my eyeball o-0!! yeah so they've gotta "spot weld" it down .... crap! oh well i knew smth was wrong with my eyes anyhow. totally enjoying my wireless network its such a joy to watch Hajime no Ippo in my room on youtube. ah the simple pleasures! picked up Ping Pong Club & Voices of a Distant Star at work yesterday, PPC had been ordered like 3 months and has been sitting in the staff purchase cupboard for well over 2 =P its the entire series, so thats friggin awesome!! gotta love ecchi anime =P Fushigi Yuugi is also almost done, well eps 1-26 that is and i finally finished Zegapain i started d/l-ing Black Jack from NarutoFan PLUS and its awesome, Osamu Tezuka's animation is beyond amazing!! tho i have a distinct dislike for overly large noses =P have to pick up on Death Note and D.Gray-man since i stopped downloading them over the last month or so. so its gonna be anime and video game filled holidays =D just the type i like =D oohh!! lunch is ready, off to eat!! ill see whoever's comin to Shoeless Joe's tonite!! wireless orgasm
haha that sounds so wrong but im finally wireless and on my laptop which is now not as useless as before =D so ive finally got wireless internet and my wii is now able to go online. the update isnt screwing up my system ..... i think. but i havent received the message sent to my wii and no one seems to be in the mii plaza o-0?? am i missing smth ... oh well only time will tell. in other news i am finally done with finals!!! had franchising today and thanks to patrick's exam from the summer got atleast 40 right out of 140 since they were all on the older exam =D now i have to fix my schedule screw up AGAIN!!! like last winter semester they threw out my liberal cuz it clashes with my other classes and given my luck all the liberals offered will prolly be in that time slot so ill be screwed once again. but then again i can take a marketing course and get one of my minor courses out of the way so ill have to do less work on my minor next semester. tomoro is my first day back at HMV in over two weeks. im kinda nervous and not looking forward to being on my toes for 8 hours ... and having to be awake and coherent at 9.30 xP but oh well work=money=bass guitar=goooooooood!!!! oh shit my PSP is still on with my arcade mode fight still on!!! must go play that, the wii is off now cuz i need to sleep soon. so if anyone has a wii and would like to add me my wii code is 3013 2735 0386 2410 and reply with ur wii id in my comments so i can know who is adding me. later dayz, Siddharth Current Mood:  giddy | | Wednesday, December 13th, 2006 | | 5:24 pm |
well it has been a while hasnt it? for all the in LJ land im holding up well ... but then again you dont care and frankly neither do i. well i hope everyone's doin well with exams, i am/am not but whatever got one more tomorrow and ill be done!!!!! have to actually start studying for that now and finish the cheat sheet. got lots to do, but its all M/C so it cant be too hard ... but then again it is a Brent exam. well nothings new, other than exams. well nothing vaguely interesting, other than being a major facebook whore =P and my white DS has a crack in its left hinge, but Nintendo is fixing that for me so YAY!! gotta give it to my dad tomoro. well once im done finals and monday starts i will be working 40 hours a week so you prolly wont see a lot of me but if u drop by HMV ill be there =P gonna get a wireless router this week so i can get my Wii online. still looking to get that bass guitar, hopefully they dont remove my layaway on the amp. i am pleasantly surprised to find that i can actually play Guilty Gear well enough to hold my own up until the second last round in arcade mode. also i am amazing at Sudoku o-0 im at 60% completion in Brain Age, this is surprising because in September i was struggling to finish one box/row/column =P im averaging around 10 mins on intermediate, gotta finish all the puzzles before moving onto advanced. havent played my Wii in a while but thats good, Zelda and Trauma Centre are both pissing me off cuz i cant pass a certain stage in the games within my specified limit of 45 mins of Wii time. blah!! but ill finish them soon enuff once im done franchising on thursday. will get into writing my stories again soon, i finished the two Eragon books so im inspired again. ive been swilling ideas in my head for a while now, just never got around to writing, but ill have sit my ass down sometime and go nuts on Word =P anyway i better be off and get cracking on franchising, later dayz, Siddharth PS: Damn you facebook for being so addictive =P Current Mood: blah | | Saturday, November 25th, 2006 | | 2:52 pm |
wild friday night
whoa that was an awesome night!!! ok well lets start from the beginning the morning sucked ass!! i had to finish and write the last half of our project. Now i can seriously say i dont have many indian friends in canada. and you know what im glad, cuz i know why i would get pissed at them. well cuz if they're not from bombay THEY SUCK!! im not trying be elitist but theyre just retarded and low class scum for the most part. you can dress an indian up but he'll still act like a scumbag -_- and thats what hardev is. hes a fucking scumbag not to forget Alam and Hossam. combined they wrote 6 pages, when should have had atleast 9. i once the project was complete had 12 pages and in total had 17 pages with exhibits. this i did in the span of 3 hours!! and they were like oh did u add this .. and this ... and this ..... but u left that?!? STFU!!! ASSMUNKEEEYYSSS!!!! seriously, they have the nerve to tell me what to do after they did jackshit. ill be surprised if we passed and if we dont get a good mark im taking this to the prof. but once that was done i forgot about it let it go and played my wii till we had to jet. first up the Bombay Mallu Christmas Party. it was good to see people from my old school in bombay and meet up with ppl i havent seen in a while, but honestly it was like any other indian function now. stupid girls dance, two ppl sing, lame-o games. man it used to fun and lively, sure we had ppl sing, but like different songs every year and the games were bouncin fun and no group dance bullshit. argh i hate how they ruin everythin ... parents i mean, they want their little babies to shine -_- and the food was the worst indian food i have ever had the displeasure of eating. i only ate cuz i knew there wasnt gonna be food at nazer's party and even if there was it would be gone by the time i got there. ugh it was nasty xP so once i scarfed down my dinner and a nasty gulab jamun i drove down to the delta chelsea, parked and the first person i see when i get to the room is Mike -_- no not our mike!! Mike that assfucker from pharmaplus who i bitched and moaned about 3 odd years ago, yeah he was there -_- but he left soon enuff so the night was good!! met nazer's friends, chilled, drank muchly, had my first beer bong corona, laughed my head off from time to time, had angelo spill his beer bong on ME and so on and so forth. it was a great night!! it was totally chill and thats exactly what i needed. we were up on the 26th floor, the view was awesome, the weather was great, the company was bangin. and we ended up watchin porn on Showcase and CityTV. that was not fun -_- much because the first thing i saw on the TV was a dudes penis ...... thats a buzz killer right there -_- lol but it was jokes we all just chilled together, tried some really sickening drinks that were gross. all in all it was a great night!! got there about 11 left at 3.30 not too shabby if i say so myself. the drive back was horrendous tho o-0 the fog was so damn thick, i could barely see the lines on the road o-0 especially near 401 ramp from the 427 o-0 i surprised i didnt go off the road o-0!! well thats that, videos from the party are on youtube and pics are on facebook if ur interested go take a look. tonite is the staff party for HMV ... dunno what to get Shaine for the secret santa shit. i havent spoken to him AT ALL, and what can i get him for 15 bucks -__- go HMV gift card hahahaha!! later dayz Sid Current Mood: chipper | | Wednesday, November 22nd, 2006 | | 12:43 am |

It was actually really good, camping out. sure we didnt bring chairs (the only idiots who didnt -_-;) and sleeping bags but it was awesome just talking randomly with people and making new friends. it was cold but it was alrite i wasnt freezing or anything (well i did come home and add an extra layer =P) i drew some, played mario kart with other ppl, slept for 20 mins, drank mango juice .. which is still in my bag and needs to go in the fridge ...... be right back *runs* mmmmmm Froooooooti doesnt need to go in the fridge anymore ehehehe, but yeah minus the frequent need to pee and having to be under the same blanket as farhan (thankfully not in our boxers like when we went to AN *shudder*) but we spent most of our time walking around talking to ppl than be covered up, which could be why im sick right now =P so yeah we were 25th and 26th in line and we got our Wii and we had much fun with everyone around us making fun of the idiots who should up 9 thinking that they would get a Wii. they were mostly parents =P this one lady counted the line about 15 times and everytime she walked by we would loudly say to no one in particular "What? Do you only know how to count till 55?" cuz there were only 56 Wii's in stock so it was funny and we laughed real hard when she left at the end cuz the manager came out and said that the first 56 would get Wii's. But the employees seriously pissed us off. they were supposed to open at 7 and give us ticket numbers so we could then have 2 hours till 9 to get some breakfast. but no the idiot opening manager shows up at 8.15 and this one girl (who i could swear went to carmel with us) who works there got all pissy with me and the guys who were one and two in line, cuz we asked if the manager was on his way and would be still getting numbers. bitch i hope a rogue PS3 falls on her head or something equally heavy =_=* The only downpoint of the whole thing was that I didnt get Trauma Centre T_T which they only had 6 copies of T___T oh well ill just buy it when it comes in at HMV =D so i got Zelda instead which i must say is really cool, tho im still ruing the fact that i can play it only in december T_T and its weird to play a game without a set jump button o-0!! lol well its my first Zelda game ever ... yeah yeah i know im deprived and all that jazz bugger off!!
